The simplest way to add value to the world is to say Thank You.
Bought an item on Amazon lately?
After you received the item, you would have received an email asking you to rate the seller and the item.
Did you do it?
I used to ignore those emails, thinking I had no time and would get to them later.
Now, I make it a point to respond.
It only takes 2 minutes to type a 5-star review with a few sentences to say what you loved about the product and/or your customer experience.
What you don’t see or don’t realize, is that you’re also doing a few things:
- You’re helping a business owner gain social proof, which helps them get established and maintain credibility.
- You’re demonstrating generosity with your time.
- You’re demonstrating kindness and civic-mindedness by helping a fellow human out who may be trying to decide if they should buy the product you bought.
- You’re also expressing thankfulness and gratitude for what you’ve received.
As you sow, so shall you reap.
Sow gratitude, and reap abundance (in all its forms).
Have a good day.
