Public Speaking for the Introvert

Instead of thinking…

“I’m an introvert, therefore I’m not good at speaking.”

“What if I’m asked a question I can’t answer?”

“What if I forget my script?”

“What if the tech fails on the day?”

“Who am I to even be up there talking to an audience??”

How about saying this to yourself instead…

“I am so blessed and grateful to be here.”

“What an honour to get to share what I’ve learned and experienced with such an enthusiastic and supportive group.”

“What words of wisdom and life can I speak into my audience today?”

“How can I make this time a positive and memorable experience for all?”

Our words frame our thoughts and beliefs, and our thoughts and beliefs affect our energy, our mood, our behaviours, and our outer world.

As Within, So Without.
