My guest Emily Erstad M.A CCC-SLP articulates so accurately the “Introvert Dilemma”:
Introverts possess a phenomenal sense of self-awareness and incredible observation powers.
These are crucial leadership and emotional intelligence skills – you can’t build good relationships or a strong team without them.
BUT we also have a tendency to hide our genius in our heads and let our fears get in the way.
We don’t share our vulnerability with others because it takes so much energy to get others on the same page.
Can you relate to this too? I know it hit really hard for me!
The consequence?
We do a disservice not only to ourselves professionally, but we also deprive our teams and organizations of our untapped ideas and brilliance.
