Happy World Introvert Day

Wandering around the courtyard of the Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh City, this bougainvillea bush caught my eye.

Its joyous profusion of colour stood out from the drab greyness of its surroundings.

Much like how introverts — with our quiet wisdom, calm presence and inner radiance — offer a sense of respite and refreshing in a noisy, chaotic world.

On this World Introvert Day (January 2nd), I invite you to celebrate the many quiet voices and quiet leaders in your midst: co-workers, family members, friends, classmates.

Quietness is not weakness.

Often, it’s the quiet ones who surprise us with their power, wisdom, intellect, depth of introspection, ability to listen and empathise, ability to create safety and calm, and so many other strengths.

On this special day, I want to express my gratitude to all the guest experts who have shared their quietly powerful wisdom on The Quiet Warrior Podcast in 2024:

Amira Alvarez Birgit Livesey Lillian Powell, MA, ACC Cheryl Lardner Ben Lai Eileen March Yulia Gladysheva Anthony Kuo Melissa Corley Carter Crystal Reynolds Petros Eshetu Karalyn Brown Avery Thatcher Kate Richardson Terrance Lee, MBA Amita Sharma Chelsey Brooke Cole, LPC-MHSP, CPTT, RPT

Happy World Introvert Day!

The world is better with you in it. It really is.
